Originally from the North East, I started making films at 15 as part of a young persons' Film Academy run by the local independent cinema.  I was quickly drawn to Production Design and went on to study this at University. 

 

After graduating in 2009, I began my career as an Art Department Assistant and have since worked my way through various roles, including Graphic Designer, Assistant Art Director, Standby Art Director, to Art Director.

 

Experience on a wide range of projects varying in genre and budget, such as  ‘Havoc’, ‘His Dark Materials’ and ‘War of the Worlds’, has provided me with a varied and versatile skill set and a wealth of both practical and conceptual knowledge.
